Commitment to International Excellence and Ethical Publishing
The International Journal of Life Science and Agriculture Research (IJLSAR) adheres to leading international standards in editorial management, ethics, transparency, and scholarly rigor. Our editorial policies are designed to ensure the integrity, quality, and credibility of all published works, supporting the advancement of global research in life science and agriculture.
1. Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made without influence from advertisers, sponsors, or external commercial interests.
Editors and reviewers are selected based on expertise, record of integrity, and independence.
2. Manuscript Selection and Handling
Submissions are evaluated solely on scientific merit, originality, relevance to IJLSAR’s scope, and clarity, regardless of the authors’ nationality, gender, affiliation, or personal characteristics.
Manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review to safeguard impartiality.
3. Confidentiality
Editors and reviewers are required to treat submitted manuscripts with strict confidentiality.
Unpublished information or data from manuscripts will not be used by editorial staff, board members, or reviewers for personal advantage.
4. Conflict of Interest
Editors, reviewers, and authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, personal, or otherwise) that could influence editorial decisions or manuscript evaluation.
Identified conflicts are managed promptly and transparently to ensure ethical objectivity.
5. Research Integrity and Ethics
IJLSAR upholds guidelines set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors), and WAME (World Association of Medical Editors).
Studies must comply with ethical standards for research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data, including institutional approvals and patient consent where applicable.
Plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, duplicate publication, or other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited and lead to editorial action, including possible retraction.
6. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts are subject to a rigorous double-blind peer review by qualified experts.
Editors oversee the review process, offer guidance to reviewers and authors, and resolve conflicts or appeals in accordance with COPE recommendations.
Reviewer identities remain confidential, and reviews are conducted impartially and constructively.
7. Authorship and Contributions
Authorship is based on substantial scholarly contribution, in accordance with Credit taxonomy and international criteria.
All contributors are required to declare their specific roles, with corresponding authors responsible for communication with the journal and ensuring submission integrity.
8. Transparency and Corrections
IJLSAR provides clear policies for post-publication issues, including corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern, in line with best practices.
Readers and authors may alert the editorial office to errors or concerns regarding published work for prompt investigation and resolution.
9. Editorial Board Responsibilities
Board members are appointed for their subject expertise and commitment to editorial integrity.
Responsibilities include guiding editorial priorities, upholding quality, and ensuring a diverse, global perspective in the review process.
The board and editors declare all relevant interests and recuse themselves from decisions where conflicts may arise.
