Welcome to IJLSAR Author Guidelines
The International Journal of Life Science and Agriculture Research (IJLSAR) invites high-quality, original submissions in all areas of life science and agriculture. To ensure a smooth and successful publication process, authors are requested to follow these instructions carefully.
1. Scope and Manuscript Types
IJLSAR publishes (but is not limited to):
Original Research Articles
Review Papers
Short Communications
Case Studies
Book Reviews
Thesis-derived Papers
Note: All manuscripts must represent original, unpublished work not submitted elsewhere.
2. Submission Process
Submission Method:
Submit manuscripts via email to editor@ijlsar.org or through the Online Submission Portal.
Initial Screening:
Manuscripts are checked for scope, originality, formatting, and ethical compliance before further processing.
Acknowledgment:
Receipt of your manuscript will be confirmed within 48 hours.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Formatting Requirements
File Format: MS Word (.doc or .docx)
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced
Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) all sides
Numbering: Pages and lines must be numbered
Manuscript Structure
Title Page:
Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author’s email
Abstract:
Max 250 words; structured summary of background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion
4–6 keywords
Main Text:
Introduction
Materials and Methods
Results
Discussion
Conclusions (optional)
References:
Use APA or Harvard style
List all cited works
Tables & Figures:
Provide clear titles and legends
Cite in the text where appropriate
Submit images as high-resolution files if necessary
Declarations:
Conflict of Interest statement
Funding statement (if applicable)
Author Contributions (Credit taxonomy)
Data Availability Statement:
Specify availability of underlying data/materials
4. Ethical Standards
IJLSAR strictly follows international standards (COPE, ICMJE) on authorship, research integrity, and reproducibility.
All submissions require a statement certifying originality and ethical compliance.
Animal/human research must include appropriate institutional approvals.
5. Peer Review
Double-Blind Process: Both author and reviewer identities are concealed.
Timelines: Decision typically within 7 days.
Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit based on reviewer feedback.
6. After Acceptance
Article Processing Charge (APC): $50 USD (paid via PayPal only, after acceptance)
Proofs: Authors will receive email proof for final correction.
Publication: Assignment of DOI and open-access online publication.
7. Policies and Best Practices
Authorship: All authors must meet IJLSAR authorship criteria.
Plagiarism: Strictly prohibited; manuscripts are screened for originality.
Citation Accuracy: All data, quotes, and references must be properly cited.
